Redchurch Street Loft

A one-bedroom loft above the shops on Redchurch Street, in a 1910 textile factory converted to residential use in the late 1990s. The building keeps its original goods lift, now serving as the main means of access to the upper floors.

The flat runs the full depth of the building, with the bedroom set behind a partial partition rather than a full wall, keeping the sense of a single loft space. Exposed brick, timber ceiling beams and the original factory windows are all intact; the kitchen and bathroom were both refitted in 2021.

Redchurch Street is one of the most walked streets in Shoreditch and the flat sits directly above a small run of independent shops, which means some daytime footfall noise but also the shortest possible walk to everything the street has to offer.
